Accessibility statement for CVOFire

We want everyone who visits the CVO Fire website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

What are we doing?

To help us make the CVO Fire website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level A as the target for the Easyfire website.

How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the CVO Fire website and believe we've almost achieved our goal of Level A accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

The text size used throughout the site can be easily increased or decreased using your internet browser. A couple of examples of how to do this are listed below:

Changing your text size in Microsoft Internet Explorer:

1. Select 'Page' from the 'Toolbar' menu.
2. Select 'Zoom' from the list provided and the percentage of zoom is dependant upon how large you would like to make the web features. The default percentage is '100percent'

Changing your text size in Mozilla:

1. Select 'Text Size' from the 'View' menu.
2. Select 'Increase Font' or 'Decrease Font' to adjust the font size accordingly.

We also recommend a scroll mouse with a 'magnify' option
